We exchanged it for another -- in less than a week it died. As if I had no sense, I exchanged it for yet a third one. After all, it's a Bose -- I paid extra for the quality, so this must be a fluke, I thought to myself. <br /> <br />Well, guess what? Our third one just went kaput in the middle of a big Labor Day weekend party!!! These things are J-U-N-K. We purchased this product in May and within 3 days it died — dead, kaput. If you bring this item up on Amazon, delete your cache, and do it again, you'll find that Amazon rotates between sellers. All at the same price, which is the same price as Target or Best Buy or anywhere else. Obviously Bose has taken advantage of the Supreme Court decision a few years ago that allowed manufacturers to specify a retail price. It may be legal, but outlawing competition is certainly un-American, and I'm not going to purchase anything from Bose.
