Hot August Night/NYC: Live From Madison Square Garden, August 2008
I just got home and was looking for the art work for the included CD ‘10 Favorites’. I was stunned at the pricing. I paid $11.88 at Sam’s Club for the DVD + CD package. It is surprising to see something on Amazon (even though sold by 3rd parties) so much more expensive. Perhaps I should by more and re-sell them?
Don’t get me wrong….this is an excellent set, unless you bought it specifically for “Hell Yeah” Yes, “Hell Yeah” is on the video and I would have rated this a 4 or 5 star rating if I received what was advertised. However, even though both Amazon and others advertise that “Hell Yeah” is on the CD it is not.
I have rated this a 1 star to hopefully get the attention of the record company. I purchased the set to use the CD version of “Hell Yeah” for my music server. Looks like I will have to wait until the record company decides to actually include that song on a future release. Makes you wonder if the record company conveniently did this on purpose.
Recieved it very fast and in great condition; thank you very much will use them again!
not closed-captioned or subtitled. saw the 1 hour special on tv and it was captioned. got the dvd and found it was not.
It takes you to the neighborhood where he grew up. He went to see where he lived and the people let him see the apartment. He talked with a bunch of boys on bicycles on his music. They haven’t heard of his songs but it was fine with him. Different generation. Different kind of music. Great concert.
