How Do I Keep My Ibook Online With My Wireless Router?

We just purchased a used ibook. We keep having to reset our wireless security settings so our ibook can go on line. Is this something to do with the ibook or something to do with our router. Everytime the ibook goes to sleep we have to reset the settings. Help!

    Assuming you also got the OS X System disks, the smartest thing to do is do a “Clean Install of OS X”.
    Put the 1st CD/DVD in the drive, then, re-boot and follow the prompts.
