This adapter has worked very well with my laptop. The design works better than the one that came with the laptop and I would recommend it for anyone who has a laptop that is compatible with the adaptor. When I needed a replacement I put in the type of laptop I had and this one was one that was recommended as compatable.
After the OEM unit broke twice, it was time to be replaced. Both times the OEM cord became disconnected at the end of the cord where it plugs into the back of the laptop, that plug seperates from the cord and you can hold and jiggle it to get it to work again but eventually it will stop working.
This cord has a better plug design that is less prone to separating and abuse, so I think it will have a better chance of holding up over time. Otherwise, I can tell no differences from the OEM unit and this is a way better deal. We’ve used it know for 4-6 months and no issues, no impact on battery life, and no problems. Highly recommended!
