Can’t everyone do better?
the best LED display, Easy to use and yet you can do your own setting. Sharp pictures and movies.
I bought it and returned it a week later after trying to confirm that it was the camera and not me. It has features that make it SEEM appealing but… the touch screen is all so easily inadvertently touched and BOINK you’re out of picture taking mode into another atmosphere. DEFINITELY NOT user friendly. Very awkward to hold without messing up your mode. And if that were not enough, the pictures really are NOT very good at all. I can’t believe it’s a Nikon. Trust me on this: If you it, don’t throw away the packaging or the receipt. Go Obama!
I like this camera. I was a little intimidated by all the icons & options, but I just started taking pictures. At first, indoor pictures weren’t that good, but using the “auto” or “indoor/party” scene, they now look great. The touch screen, with all the setting you can change accidentally, takes some getting used to, but once you do, you find there are some advantages to it that other cameras don’t have. We had a very wet fall here, so we found lots of interesting fungi in the woods. Some of them are very colorful but tiny. I set the camera on the ground with the lens side downward, touched the screen to focus where I wanted, & let the camera take the picture. Of course, the good thing about digital cameras is you can take enough shots to get a few good ones, then just delete what isn’t perfect. We got a lot of fantastic pictures, including the undersides of mushrooms a half inch tall. We also have a Doberman puppy we take many pictures & videos of, and they’ve turned out fine. Sunsets turn out great. I agree with some other reviewers that the most negative reviews come from people who haven’t had time to learn how to use the camera. Having said that, I agree that this camera may not be for everyone. My husband loves the super macro photos but gets frustrated with the touchscreen. Being a two camera family, we have the best of both worlds.
I have had this camera for almost a week already, I say it is a very good Camera, and the Picture quality is very good, this is the second Nikon Coolpix Camera that I have owned and I allways get good pictures out Nikon Camera, and the camera is very easy to use and I like how you slide the cover down to turn on the camera, I say this the fastest starting camera I have owned so far. The feature on the camera are we neat I tried the panorama assit feature and that feature works very well. It is a very well made camera. The only thing is I kind of do not like is that the lens is kind of close to edge of camera which kind of makes it a little tough to hold, but that still dose not bother me a bit. I got the Champagne & Beige) one
