Playstation 3 Rock Band 2 Special Edition
I’m a huge fan of the Rock Band franchise - I’ve spent hours and hours playing RB1 with friends. With that being said - I picked up the special edition for PS3 today, brought it home - and the drums were faulty out of the box. Alot of other people are experiencing these same issues (see them @ youtube & the official rock band forums)
1. The green pad constantly triggers on its own (VERY annoying)
2. cross talk is occuring (two pads registering when it should only be one)
3. blue tom only triggers when you hit it EXACTLY in the center
4. drums shut off *completely* during gameplay.
Avoid purchasing this set until Harmonix gets their act together and fixes the hardware!
Great selection of songs.
Online play is good.
downsides: graphics are the same, new modes?… and PIECE OF $*%& DRUM SET! it’s been 4 months and EA still hasn’t sent the new ones!!!!!!
