    cons:

very bad cam. even you do not recognize yourself!

bad/very low sound. as described by someone, you can increase it by equalizer settings but you do not need it for other laptops.

This laptop is beautiful and light weight and loaded with right features. Except one fatal flaw: the touchpad is impossible to use. Its very difficult to press the right/left click button and they are badly positioned. Can’t believe that Toshiba didn’t even put it to a human test before selling!

I’ve owned this unit for one week. Overall, it is good. However, the battery life is only 4.5 hours(Wi-Fi and office word), not Toshiba announced over 9 hours.

First off please note that this laptop does NOT have a 56k modem; despite being advertised as such. If you require a modem, you will have to buy an external one to go with it. I tried to update the product description; but was unable to update the part that makes that claim.

This is a great and powerful laptop for the price… and the battery life is absolutely amazing! I can actually believe the 9 hours it boasts; I used it unplugged for over 4 hours; while having the screen turned completely bright and everything running at full power; and it still showed it as having over an hour left. With the screen dimmed and some of the other power-saving features turned on, 9 hours definitely seems realistic.

As others have said, the track-pad is quite poorly designed and difficult to use; but that’s hardly a deal-breaker… it still works; and it’s easier to use a mouse anyway. The built-in webcam seemed to be of poor quality as well. But as a whole, this is a great system.
